By accessing or using FaveReader, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

FaveReader is an online EPUB reader. You may read books in the Public Library without an account. Signed-in users may upload EPUB files to a private library and, if authorized, publish works to the Public Library.

Accounts

Sign-in is provided through Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining access to the Google account you use to sign in.

Public Library and public domain content

Some titles in the Public Library are believed to be in the public domain in the United States. They may be obtained, in original or adapted EPUB form, from third-party public domain ebook sources such as Project Gutenberg. FaveReader provides these works for reading convenience and does not claim copyright in the underlying literary texts.

• Public domain status can vary by country. If you access FaveReader outside the United States, you are responsible for determining whether a work is free to read in your jurisdiction.
• Book titles, author names, and cover images are shown for identification. Their display here does not transfer any rights beyond those already applicable to public domain works.
• Project Gutenberg® is a registered trademark of the Project Gutenberg Literary Archive Foundation. FaveReader is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Project Gutenberg or any other public domain source site.
• If you believe content in the Public Library infringes your rights, contact the site operator with details so the matter can be reviewed.

Your uploads

When you upload an EPUB, you represent that you have the necessary rights to store and read that file through FaveReader, and that your upload does not violate copyright, trademark, privacy, or other laws.

If you publish to the Public Library, you additionally represent that the work is lawfully shareable with the public and that publication will not infringe any third-party rights. FaveReader may remove public content at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload malware or unlawful content
• Attempt to access other users' private libraries without authorization
• Interfere with the operation or security of the service
• Use the service in violation of applicable law

Intellectual property and trademarks

The FaveReader name, logo, software, and site design are owned by the site operator and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in that material except the limited right to use the service as intended.

Google and Google Sign-In are trademarks of Google LLC. Other product names, logos, and marks appearing on the site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

Disclaimers

FaveReader is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that every Public Library work is free of rights restrictions in every jurisdiction.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of FaveReader.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of FaveReader after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
